Do you Want to delete a friend on Facebook friend list?

This step by step procedure will help you remove or unfriend of your friend from facebook  in three different ways, depending on which facebook you are using weather its  the old Profile or the new Timeline.

We will discuss the first method.Here  (Works for Profile and Timeline, though if your friend is using Timeline there will some slight changes in the  the buttons  than the ones of the image)

After logging in  to Facebook, select  profile of the Facebook friend that you want to delete of remove from your facebook friend’s list. Once you select the  profile, place the mouse on the “Friends” button, which is near the top center of the screen, and then click on the “Unfriend” option in the  menu.

Facebook will ask you if you to confirm the removal,then you have to click  on the button  “Remove from Friends” . The first step is over.

The Second way to do it (Works only if you are still using the Profile)

Once you have logged in to Facebook, on the top right hand corner of the page, click on your name or small profile picture.

Once you have done that click on the option “Friends” located in the left sidebar.

Once you have done that, you will be directed to a new page, on which you will see the list of all your Facebook friends. On that page, place your mouse on the “Friends” button at the right extreme of the friend you want to remove, and then click on the “Unfriend” option in the appearing menu.

Facebook will ask you if you are sure, and you will have to click on the button that says “Remove from Friends” to confirm the action. Note: If you are going to remove multiple friends, do not click on “Okay” in the next message that appears. If you do that, the page will refresh and therefore it will take you a long time to remove several friends. Just repeat the above process with the next friend you want to delete and the message will go away.

Although this way you will remove one friend at a time, this method is also the most comfortable way to remove multiple friends on Facebook.

How to do it in the new Timeline

Once you have logged in to Facebook, on the top right hand corner of the page, click on your name or small profile picture.

Then, click on the Friends box that is among the boxes that are right under your name and big cover picture.

Once you have done that, place the pointer of your mouse over the name of any friend you want to remove without clicking on it. In the small window that appears, place the pointer of your mouse over its “Friends” button, and finally, in the appearing menu, click on the “Unfriend” option.

Facebook will ask you if you are sure, and you will have to click on the button that says “Remove from Friends” to confirm the action.

Although this way you will remove one friend at a time, this method is also the most comfortable way to remove multiple friends on Facebook.

Opening attachments, following a hyperlink, use voting buttons, viewing the follow-up information in the InfoBar and respond to meeting requests etc can also be perfomed using the reading pane in outlook.

Turn on the Reading Pane
On the View menu, point to Reading Pane, and then click Right or Bottom.

Turn off the Reading Pane
On the View menu, point to Reading Pane, and then click Off.

Part of the appeal of video games is the visual eye-candy that splashes across the television screen. But even the addictive imagery is only half of the equation. The remaining half is the magic bestowed upon our eyes when this imagery comes to life. Animation that’s controlled by a gamer is all it takes to escape into a different time and place – a time and place brought to you by virtual reality.

As you can imagine, virtual reality is a hypothetical three-dimensional visual world created by a computer. Players can enter and move about in this world and interact with objects as if inside it.1 Some of the games that are already on the market give a pretty good idea of what virtual reality is and can do. Video games like Zelda, Halo, or Harry Potter allow players to enter into an environment and interact with objects, but they don’t allow the player to create an environment and that’s what virtual worlds are all about.

Without a single ounce of programming experience, anyone can create a virtual world and have loads of fun doing so. All one needs is an idea.

To begin, you’ll want to construct a plan that maps your idea of the perfect world, the craziest world, or the oddest world that you can imagine. Some virtual world software will give you a template of sorts (a “starter” world) that lets you make additions and ultimately build a world that you’ve always dreamed of. A good example of template use is inside Maxis’ SimCity or SimTown games. Both games provide pre-designed environments that provide plenty of space and opportunity to shape them into one that you prefer.

Of course, you could always start from scratch. The only problem with starting with scratch is that it takes more time and knowledge to add some of the features that virtual worlds provide. Either way (from scratch or from a template), most users build a world by adding objects and scenarios – even deleting some until they’ve reached the perfect balance.

A good place to find examples of what you could build in virtual world gaming is online. Every virtual world program available offers sample environments that players can download and install into their own system. Some manufacturers of these games even hold contests and award winners with free upgrades. Other suitable places to find ideas are from fiction books: -historical, -fantasy, -futuristic, you name it. Science fiction movies are a good resource for ideas as well.

Just understand that virtual gaming takes time. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will your virtual world. There’s no rush and this is a relaxing hobby. Take your time and have fun. Don’t fret over not knowing how to build an object or lay down a map – you can learn how to do these kinds of things in due time. Your goal is to create a world of enjoyment and it won’t help if you find yourself frustrated all the time.

When ready, you can add characters with their own unique histories, habits, strengths and weaknesses. You can even give them goals or small tasks to perform throughout the game. Giving your characters goals and tasks will help you give the game a plot.

Where and How to Get It

Well there’s no denying it – No matter how new or how well maintained our computers are, we all encounter computer problems sooner or later. The good news is that we don’t have to face them alone. There are a ton of resources available to walk us through computer issues but it may take a little knowledge in knowing how to access them. This article will show you how.

1. Remember help files. It’s funny, but people seem to forget that every computer and every program installed on a computer comes with its own help file. Even the operating system of a computer has a help file and it really should be the first place to look for answers. Help files are designed not only to guide the usage of a computer, they’re also designed to solve problems. Inside a help file, look for a section called, “Troubleshooting” (or something similar) when you need to resolve an issue. This section is reserved for solving problems specific to the software or hardware that you’re using.

2. Product websites. If you’re having a problem with a piece of software or with a hardware part, try the website of that software’s or hardware’s manufacturer. Most (if not all) manufacturer’s reserve a portion of cyberspace and dedicate it to support the products that they build. Microsoft’s help desk is good example.

3. Fan sites. Fan sites probably isn’t a good name for this resource, but you can find websites that are dedicated toward supporting the users of a particular software program or piece of hardware. We’ve called them “fan sites” because the maintainers of these sites have no affiliation with the manufacturers that they support! Call them what you will, but their free help is immeasurable and without it, we wouldn’t have some of the wonderful workarounds and unique problem solving techniques that we have today.

4. Usenet newsgroups. Another underused resource on the Internet, Usenet newsgroups have hundreds of discussion groups dedicated to some of the most popular computer systems, operating systems, hardware manufacturers, and individual software programs. Sometimes, the representatives of these companies participate, but most of the time, the support in this group is user to user, which is just as valid because you’re working with a team of experienced people.

5. Support Lines. Another source for help that we shouldn’t forget are the support systems of various manufacturers. You can reach these systems by calling the phone number associated with the product that you’re having trouble with. Calls may be free (1-800 or 1-877 number), or they may cost a small fee (1-900).

6. PC support groups or user groups are another option for help. These are groups that meet in libraries, computer stores, or other local areas and they discuss all sorts of issues related with a particular product. Even if you aren’t experiencing a computer or software problem, user groups are fun to participate in and they can help you network into other interests such as job or teaching opportunities.

7. Surprisingly, you may even get a helping hand from the salespersons at your local computer store. We don’t recommend that you make this your first pit stop when you experience a problem, but we don’t recommend that you rule this option out altogether either. Computer salespersons are hired for a reason – and that’s their knowledge. Often, these kind folks can help you resolve an issue over the phone and prevent you form having to buy a costly solution.

As you can see, help is easy to find – You’ve just got to know where to look for it. Most of the contacts within these resources are extremely friendly and willing to take the time to walk you through a problem at little to no cost. From online discussion groups to the files on your own computer, help is often just a click away.
